Blackburn is 0-5 in his career vs. the A's and the A's have played solid at home this year especially as favorites at this number -110 to -150. I look for Minnesota to struckle a bit vs. Gio Gonzalez despite the success they have had with him in two starts.

Blackburn on the other hand is 2-2 away with a 6.44 ERA and has an ERA over 4 during day starts. He's got a 9.00 ERA in three starts vs. the A's in three game starts a year ago. Minny just 16-35 in their last 51 road vs. a LH starter and 1-8 in their last 9 vs. the AL West with Blackburn on the hill as well as 3-13 in Blackburns last 16 road vs. a winning team.
